Here is how to build that blueprint, keep natural lashes healthy, and walk into every appointment with a plan.
Think of lash mapping as the blueprint for the appointment. Before you begin applying extensions, you create a plan that determines:

One of the biggest misconceptions is that everyone should get the same lash style. The exact same set can look completely different on two people, because everyone’s eye shape is unique.

Place your eye gel pads or tape securely under the eyes so you can draw directly on them. A smooth gel pad gives you a clean surface for the map and keeps lower lashes out of the way.
Ask the client to look straight ahead. Mark the highest point of the pupil on the eye pad. That mark becomes your center section.

No two eye shapes are identical. The map that flatters one almond eye will not automatically flatter hooded lids or downturned corners.
