What's the perfect service to bump your ticket price sky high and only adds on about 30 minutes to your appointment? Depending on where you live, your skill set, as well as if you add a shaping or tint, this service can increase your revenue anywhere from $80 - $150+. What is this magical add on you might ask? Two words … Brow lamination. Eyebrow lamination is a service that has been around for years, but only recently became the next best thing in all things brow maintenance. Let’s dive into all the details!
What is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a quick and easy 20-30 minute service that gives your clients full and fluffy “soap brows”. This service uses two solutions to help break down the eyebrow hairs' natural protein and bonds and then rebuilds them in a new shape. Eyebrow lamination is ideal for clients who spend countless hours every morning perfecting and shaping their brows with gel, as the lamination takes this step completely out of their routine. You can also add brow shaping (in the form of tweezing only) and brow tinting at the same time to give the brows a complete makeover in record time.
Most clients will be a good candidate for lamination, but just as with any other beauty service, brow lamination needs to be customized to your client and their specific wants, needs, skin and hair. To start off, always ensure you’ve done a patch test 48 hours prior to your client receiving the service for the first time, or if it is an existing client that has had major changes in their lives, like medication changes, you’ll want to re-do your patch test.

Timing IS Everything
You want to make sure you are leaving both the 'Lift' and 'Lock' solutions on for the proper amount of time for your specific client.
If your client has blonde or thin brow hairs (we’re not necessarily just looking at the amount of brow hair your client has, but more so the thickness or diameter of the individual hairs themselves) you’ll want to adjust your processing times between 4-5 minutes.
Also don't use any cling wrap as this traps the natural body heat in and speeds up the processing time. On the contrary, if your client has thick or coarse brow hairs, opt for a longer processing time, up to 7 minutes, and also consider cling wrap for those hard to laminate brows.
I know, I just threw a lot of information at you, but don’t worry brow bestie, I’m here to help! Watch the brow lamination tutorial video which takes you step by step through the process. I also cover different brow thicknesses and at what point your process should vary client to client.
