There is a new alternative to lip fillers out there called Lip Blushing! I can't wait to tell you all about it. If you want to give your lips a reboot, without the worry, then this is for you.

How it Works

Although it still involves a needle, lip blushing it is less invasive, less money and looks way more natural than lip fillers. A semi permanent ink is used with a water based color. The tint enhances your natural lip shade, gives your lips definition and a fuller appearance. This effect is drawn on by lining the lips and then shading the mouth an even color. This is a great alternative to the tattooed/permanent makeup look which can be very obvious and not very attractive either. The whole process takes about 1 hour. The healing process happens with peeling or flaking which takes about 5 days. You need to apply vaseline 2-3 times a day and then for most people it takes about 1.5 to 2 weeks to have a full recovery. The best thing about this procedure is that it can last up to 3-5 years while lip fillers need refill injections approximately every 12 months! Seriously, what will our industry come up with next?! The idea of permanent makeup and fillers has gotten a bit of a face lift here. This is your daily wash of lipstick that never fades or comes off with drinking a cup of coffee. Amazing!
