It's Springtime and I hope, as you read, the sun is shining, birds are chirping and the flowers are in full force. As this lovely time of year is all about renewal, I thought I’d offer some renewed ideas for your Spring Eye Makeup Looks. A few easy suggestions can help your eyes POP into Spring.
Spring and color go hand in hand so why not compliment this seasonal vibe with color around your eyes? Give the black and browns a break and Go For It with a colorful mascara or liquid eyeliner to enhance that gaze.
Glad Lash has a beautiful Blue Liquid Eyeliner that would be stellar for brown eyes, blue/grey eyes or light green eyes. On fair skin this hue stands out and makes a statement and for darker skin tones, play with layering of this color to make a total impact! Purple liners/mascaras are great for brown eyes, hazel eyes, as well as green and blue eyes! You really can't go wrong with these combinations.
For a precisely defined line, use the fast-drying, water and smudge-proof liquid liner by GladGirl. Formulated for use with eyelash extensions, the liners offer a wider felt tip for a boldly accurate application.
Meantime, green liners/mascaras are amazing with brown eyes, hazel, green and amber eyes. Heck, you can even go super-fun and do half one color and half the other...as seen here. In spring, it’s time to play and literally anything can go!
I totally understand that the thought of color can be a step outside the usual comfort zone. But trust me, it’s really easy, just use these flashes of color just like you would your blacks and browns. Give your eyes a winged effect, surround your eye color with these vibrant eyeliner/mascara shades and discover how spectacular your natural eye color pops! Be a bit daring and let your makeup make a spring statement!
You can also use this same philosophy with eyeshadows. Play with color and see what happens. If have color in your wardrobe, then you can strike gold with those same colors in your makeup. Be bold.
One last quick tip, swipe a fun color swatch under your lash line and blend out for a soft and subtle way of saying, “Yeah, I got the memo! Spring, is my Jam.”
