Last week on the blog, I was asked a couple of times what my favorite products are to use... What's in my bag? Here is the lowdown from me to you: My favorite things are all here at Glad Lash! When it comes to the application prep process, I like to keep it old school - gel patches and tape. For me, I feel this method provides the best safety and precision.

Gel Patches

My absolute favorites are the ANGEL collagen hydrogel eye patches! With lots of great patches on the market, I choose these because the added bonus of aromatherapy - the floral green tea essence - is divine. This is also the under-eye treatment I keep in my kit as a makeup artist.

Tape

3M Nexcare Sensitive Skin Low Trauma Tape-in my opinion there is no better tape on the market for doing eyelash extensions. Even when your client's body temperature heats up this tape will never get too tacky, and is always easy to remove.

Glue

Russian Volume in the pink cap! This is my favorite glue for volume fans and classic lashes. It DOES NOT dry out eyelashes. It has a soft and flexible hold, with the best lash retention I've ever had. While other glues may hold as well, I find this one to be flexible for client's extra comfort while they enjoy their lashes.

And, Lashes

Glad Lash Signature Mink Lashes - in 'B' Curl. Volume or classic - I’m very conservative when it comes to lash length. As you may know, you should never use a lash more than two sizes longer than your client's actual lashes. Even for clients with the longest lashes, I have never gone above 13 mm length. Of course, this is where your art comes in, and longer lashes may suit you and your clients. I really enjoy the element of natural beauty, and to me that's maxing out at 13 mm. So I purchase these feathery beautifies in 9mm-13mm trays. Thank you everyone for your comments and feedback on my posts. If there is anything you want me to write about in the future - I love your engagement so please let me know. Until next wink ;) xo
