Eyelash extensions and tinted brows are a great way to cruise into a scorching summer - makeup-free! Here are some items you may want to throw in your backpack or tote on your way to one of summer's hottest festivals:
Eyelash Happiness Must-Haves
Rosewater Face Toner
This is for keeping the face and lashes clean! A quick mist of the face will make you feel clean and cooled down. Post face spritz is a great time to comb out your lashes with a clean spoolie. For me, carrying rosewater in my bag is also a social perk... You might want to bring the big bottle so you can treat your friends to a mist. When the sun is beating down, you’ll be a hit!
It goes without saying - bring your sunglasses! Preferably, your largest ones. Wearing extra-large "sunnies" will prevent the wind and dust from getting at your lashes.
Having a bandana works with your sunglasses to create a barrier from wind and dirt! Fold the bandana in half, and wrap it around your face up to the bottom of your sunglasses. Later, at the VIP party you will be happy to be looking fresh and clean! It transitions into a great hair accessory too. I got mine on Etsy. :)
Glad Lash Paraben and Oil Free Face Wipes
Specially formulated to use with eyelash extensions, these wipes are ultra soft, no water required! You’re gonna need 'em, for lots of things...
My essentials... Kit packed, ready to rock!
Other Items to Bring Good Vibes
It always pays to be sun safe! Let your fellow festival-goers know how you feel about your lashes at the same time with this trendy "Love Your Lashes" trucker style hat!
Love your lips! This salve can also be applied to your cuticles and hands when they become dry.
Trust me, you’ll be glad you have them, especially on day two. Having ear plugs at the ready also makes grabbing zzzzz’s, when the party is going strong, wayyyy easier.
I cannot express how divine the OUAI product line smells. Their Wave Spray is my favorite product to transition from beach waves, to braids, to beach waves... And, it also comes in travel size - convenient when packing light for festivals!
A Notebook For Ideas
In fact, it's when you stop thinking, and are simply having fun that you can receive the most valuable insight. Don't let beautiful inspiration pass you by - bring a small notebook and a pencil. :)
