Before Your Lash Appointment

Allow yourself time to enjoy your appointment.

Classic Lash Set - Allow 90 minutes to 2 hours for your first appointment.

Hybrid & Volume Lash Set – Allow 2 hours 

Mega Volume Lash Set – Allow 2.5 hours

Get ready for your lash nap!

Avoid caffeine 4 hours before your appointment as it can make it difficult to lie still during the application process.

Arrive with a clean face.

Remove all eye makeup and mascara before your appointment. Avoid using sunscreen or moisturizers on your face and do not curl your lashes. 

Pro Tip: Do not use waterproof mascara 2-3 days prior to your appointment, as it can leave a residue that can prevent eyelash extensions from adhering properly.

Lose the Lenses.

Please bring glasses with you and remove your contact lenses prior to your application. 

Consultation and Customization.

Before your first appointment you will complete a client consultation form. Your GladGirl Lash Artist will review the consent form and any questions you may have. Following the consent form you will have a consultation to discuss your eye shape and review our style guide. If you are new to lashing we’re happy to explain what Curl, Thickness and Length means and to review the different eye shapes we offer: Natural, Open, Doll, Cat and Spikey. We can review any pictures you have brought and discuss any additional customization including lash decals or crystals, colored or glitter lashes. After the consultation, we will begin your application in your own private room on a comfy, cushioned massage bed, draped under a cozy blanket. After your complimentary lash bath your GladGirl Lash Artist will begin your application. 

After Your Lash Appointment

• Do not get lashes wet for 24 hours after your application.
• Avoid high heat and steam which can distort and straighten lashes.
• Avoid rubbing, pulling or tugging on your eyelashes.
• Sleep on your back or side to avoid crushing lashes. Additionally, a satin pillowcase can help cut down on any friction.
• Do not use any crimping type eyelash curlers. If necessary, use speciality heated curlers designed for eyelash extensions.
• Use only oil-free makeup and removers specifically designated for use with eyelash extensions. This includes extension safe mascaras.
• Never pick or remove eyelash extensions yourself. If necessary to have one repaire or removed please see one of our GladGirl Lash Artists.
• We recommend washing your lashes daily with GladGirl Wash and Wink + Conditioner. 
• You will need a fill appointment every 2-3 weeks depending.
